• • We do not access your contacts, photos (except when you explicitly scan a receipt), or other personal information

2. How Your Data is Stored

All your financial data is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage:

• • Your transactions, budgets, and categories are saved only on your iPhone or Android device
• • Receipt images are stored locally and never uploaded to any server
• • We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data on your device
• • Your data is protected by your device's security features (passcode, biometric authentication)
• • If you delete the app, all your data is permanently removed from your device

3. Receipt Scanning

When you use the receipt scanning feature:

• • Photos are processed entirely on your device using on-device OCR (Optical Character Recognition)
• • Receipt images never leave your device
• • Extracted data is stored locally with your other transaction information
• • You can delete receipt images at any time

4. Third-Party Services

SpendVox does not integrate with any third-party services that have access to your financial data. We do not use:

• • Analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• • Advertising networks
• • Social media integrations
• • Cloud sync services
• • Crash reporting tools that transmit your data

5. App Store Information

When you download SpendVox from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store:

• • Apple and Google may collect basic information about the download (this is standard for all apps)
• • We do not receive personally identifiable information from these downloads
• • In-app purchases (if any) are processed entirely by Apple or Google; we do not handle payment information

6. Email Communications

If you sign up for launch notifications or updates:

• • We only collect your email address
• • Your email is used solely to send you updates about SpendVox
• • You can unsubscribe at any time
• • We do not share your email with third parties
• • We do not link your email to any in-app usage data (because we don't collect usage data)

7. Children's Privacy

SpendVox is designed for users 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used our app, please contact us immediately.

8. Data Backups

Your device may automatically back up app data to iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android) as part of your device's backup feature:

• • These backups are encrypted and controlled by Apple or Google, not by us
• • You can disable app backups in your device settings if you prefer
• • We do not have access to these backups
