By accessing or using SpendVox ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

SpendVox is a privacy-focused budget tracking application that:

• Allows you to track expenses and manage budgets locally on your device
• Provides receipt scanning capabilities using on-device processing
• Supports multi-currency expense tracking
• Operates entirely offline without cloud synchronization

All data processing occurs locally on your device, and we do not store, access, or transmit your financial information.

3. License and Usage Rights

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use SpendVox on your personal mobile device for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the App
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices on the App
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device and any authentication methods used to access the App
• The accuracy of financial data you enter into the App
• Creating your own backups of your data (the App stores data locally on your device)
• Understanding that deleting the App will permanently delete all locally stored data
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your use of the App

5. Data and Privacy

SpendVox is designed with privacy as a core principle:

• All your financial data is stored locally on your device
• We do not collect, store, or have access to your financial information
• You are solely responsible for backing up your data
• Device backups (iCloud or Google Drive) are controlled by Apple or Google, not by us

6. Financial Disclaimer

• The App is not a substitute for professional financial advice
• We do not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice
• You are solely responsible for your financial decisions
• The App's calculations and categorizations are for informational purposes only
• We are not liable for any financial decisions you make based on information from the App

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including all content, features, functionality, trademarks, service marks, and logos, is owned by SpendVox and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your use of the App does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property rights.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• That the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• That any defects will be corrected
• The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SPENDVOX BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
• Any financial losses or damages arising from your use of the App
• Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to your device
• Any damages arising from loss of data if you do not maintain proper backups

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SpendVox and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Updates and Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Update, modify, or discontinue the App at any time
• Change these Terms of Service with notice to you
• Release updates that may require you to upgrade to continue using the App

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice, for violation of these Terms.

Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete it from your device.

13. Third-Party App Stores

If you download the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you acknowledge that:

• These Terms are between you and SpendVox, not with Apple or Google
• Apple and Google have no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App
• You must comply with the applicable App Store terms of service
• Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with respect to the App

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where SpendVox operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SpendVox regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
